Bonjour! My name is Katrina (Kitty) Pouchet and I am a yoga instructor originally from France. I grew up in Bretagne with my mum and dad before moving to England when I was 20 to pursue teaching French to English speakers. However, when I was in my mid-20s I was in a car accident, which changed my life forever. I fell into a deep depression due to my injuries on my arms stopping me from having the strength they used to and not being able to do the most basic things with them. This is when a friend guided me into meditation and yoga to find my inner peace and start my life again. Over time and with physical therapy, my arms regained the strength that they had before and then became even stronger the more I worked on my core and yoga skills.
My life has since been a journey of self-discovery and self-care, working my way up to becoming well and happy. I am only at the start of my journey and still have a long way to go but I am focussing on the right now and blogging the techniques that have helped me the most on my mission to love myself again! It is very common to lose yourself now and again but as long as you get back on track at some point nothing is ever lost.
I will be blogging about yoga, wellness, self-care, and nutrition, which were all my core foundations to building up my confidence and helping me to move on with my life after my accident.
